Spanish golfer Alejandro Del Rey burst into the top-10 of the "Gonzaga in Dubai" rankings of the DP World Tour Golf thanks to his victory in the Ras Al Khaimah tournament. This title was the first for the 26-year-old athlete, who finished the competition with a result of 22 strokes under par. This allowed him to compensate for a disappointing performance at the Dubai Desert Classic last week, when he withdrew from the tournament earlier, not earning a single point. His victory in Ras Al Khaimah earned Del Rey 585 points, which enabled him to climb 169 positions in the rankings and secure a seat.
